Stephen C. Gruber is a California attorney who is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law. He limits his practice to estate planning and administration matters.

He has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1972, and also is a member of the Silicon Valley Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. degree, and graduated from Willamette University College of Law with a J.D. degree. While at Willamette University he was on the law review and also worked as a law clerk for the Oregon Supreme Court.
